Can I join a team with my friend?

Absolutely! If you have registered as an individual for a league and know that you would like to be placed with other players, or on a particular team, then please contact us with this request. Alternatively, if you know your League Coordinator/Manager then you may contact them directly. Both you and the players who you would like to be placed with must have registered for the same league, and be current registerees of the league. Unfortunately, it is not always possible for us to ensure that those wanting to play together are allocated to the same team, or to a new team, as this depends heavily on both the demands of the existing teams in the league and the number of individuals we have registered. However, we will endeavour to adhere to your request.

Alternatively, if you have at least six or more players, you can register as a team and contact us to request a group fee. The group fee is a pro-rata team fee price. As long as sufficient notice is provided (please email us at least one week before your league is due to start), we can potentially top up your squad with other players but please note that this is at the discretion of the Leauge Coordinator/Manager. You and the rest of your group can also try and find more players, see our Create a Tag Rugby team page for some ideas. If you are paying a pro-rata team fee, Try Tag Rugby reserves the right to add extra players to your squad to help cover the cost of team entry.

The League Coordinator/Manager for the league will be in touch around 3-4 working days before the start of the league, detailing your allocation. There is no need for those who you have registered with to also request that you're allocated together.
